Apartment Review for Boulder Property Management - Boulder, CO

We have had a very good experience renting from BPM for over a year (which is why we renewed our lease for a second year). We visited Colorado and began the application process with BPM--thereafter the leasing agent (Angie) and other staff (Jules, Barb etc.) went out of their way to work with us long-distance to secure the apartment while we were back on the east coast. Our complex is well-maintained and all of our unit's maintenance issues have been addressed promptly and with clear communication. We've had a leaking water heater, bugs and an over-watered lawn--all of these issues were taken care of in less than a week. The folks who work in the maintenance office are quick to respond to requests and to follow-up (especially Gina!). My only complaint is that we were charged a very high water bill at the end of the summer for the cost of them watering their lawn. No management company is perfect, but BPM has really done a very good job for us providing all that we've asked for. They did raise our rent a bit with our renewal, but it's still a reasonable price for our apartment and its location. We have great (quiet, friendly, knock-on-each-others-doors-anytime) neighbors, some students and some working professionals. I think a lot of the students who rent from them are first-time renters and have no idea of their responsibilities as renters and blame BPM for their own negligence. I definitely recommend renting from BPM. I've always approached them with respect and friendliness and have received nothing less in return from their service.
